White stuff coming from chickens eyes?

You are correct about the confidence of a product: My knowledge is based on experience and expertise. My concern is for the health and well being of the OP's rooster as well. The OP can make the decision which route to take.

I would like to add that although respiratory infections may be cured for the time with whatever method you choose, it may reoccur. If that is the case then this rooster is not of sturdy stock and it would be best to not keep him around. To expose the other birds to disease just isn't a good idea and if you breed him then his chicks are likely susceptible to the same issues.

Of course, always up to you.

She may have a respiratory disease such as MG or coryza. clean the eye with saline, and apply some Terramycin Eye ointment to the eye twice daily. Are you seeing an sneezing, nasal drainage, or noisy breathing? Antibiotics such as Tylan or oxytetracycline may help symptoms. Some of these diseases may be brought in by a carrier bird, and some pass through hatching eggs.
