Hello! I noticed today my duck Nico was squinting slightly with his right eye. And he has a bit of white stuff in the front of his eye. His left eye is normal…is this an infection? His stool is normal. He is also blinking that eye a lot!

Looks like it could be foamy eye, which occurs when a duck/drake isn't blowing its nares out often enough. Does he have constant access to clean water that's deep enough for him to blow out his nares?

Sometimes ducks/drakes will have adequate access to clean water, but not blow their nares out enough. When I've seen foamy eye in these situations, I've encouraged nares-blowing by dipping the duck/drake's head into the water briefly - it's usually enough to get them to blow their nares out.

Looks like foamy eye. It's not really that concerning. But, make sure the duck has access to clean water deep enough to stick its head in is important (even 2 seconds worth if clean water :gig ). My drake tends to get foamy eye on windy days. I don't treat with anything except offering water. It always clears up on it's own.
