White ???? What????

MissPrissy - Yes, Roger said White Rocks, when I got them. I did speak to him a week or so later and asked him to make sure, because of the white legs. He was positive that he "ordered" White Rocks from the hatchery. I don't know if the hatchery made a mistake or what.

The roo is as big as my buff roo, but the hens do not seem as large as my Orp. hens. They are closer in size to the buff hens though. My blue, black and splash hens and roos are very big...lol

Thanks all. I like them, no matter what breed they are supposed to be...lol

I was wondering when you were going to chime in and give me your answer...lol

I guess that I can go change my question marks on my other thread. I changed the pics. on there and hope that they are all clearer to see.

Thanks,
Dorothy

I would say the hatchery messed up and sent white orps. You will know once you start test hatching and see if you get white or yellow skin on the offspring. If they breed true to white skin, I'd say they are white orps. If you get mixed results, they could be a cross between rock and orps.
