Found single white worn in just one of the poops worm not moving, have 4 hens , what is the best natural affective way to deworm? Our do I need to use drugs , also past few weeks have put apple cider in there water , any advice would be brilliant,

Photo of the worm?

If you are in the US, then look for Safeguard (Fenbendazole) or Valbazen (Albendazole). Most stores like TSC carry Safeguard. Valbazen you can order online.

Safeguard dose is 0.23ml per pound of weight give orally once a day for 5 days in a row. This will treat most worms except for Tapeworms.

Valbazen dose is 0.08ml per pound of weight given once, then repeat in 10days.

ACV is not a dewormer.

Where are you located? If you are in the UK, flubenvet or flubendazole added to the feed for a number of days is a common treatment for many worms. Panacur equine paste (fenbendazole ) may be another option, and would be the same dosage as the SafeGuard in Wyorp Rock’s post above. Pictures of the worm would be very good. How long was it?

Didn't get photo was rushing to work, live in ireland so hopefully can still get what you suggest , does Diatomaceous Earth in feed work our is that non sense?

DE is ineffective as a wormer, because when it gets wet inside the crop, it doesn’t work. If the other wormers are not available, call your feed store and ask questions. In some countries, levamisole may be the only wormer available, but goat and horse wormers are good. Piperazine is another. Just let us know what the name is and the strength or the amount of mg per ml, and we can help with dosage.

Can you still eat eggs while feeding hens dewormer?

Some do not observe a withdrawal period, while others do.
Which dewormer are you going to use?
Not sure hopefully will get chance to look today, would love to treat worms more naturally but cant see solid evidence it works so just looking for a dewormer with little affect on eggs , if saw the right one would order of the net . Don't think they have a big worm load but have had hens since last September and reckon best to treat before load increases

I want to stress:
There is no 'natural' way to rid a worm infestation. DE and ACV are both worthless when it comes to worms too.

Withdrawal periods depend on what product your going to use.
