What are you feeding them?All my chickens are now 22 weeks old, and none of them are laying yet. 5 of them are Whiting's. We've had a horribly hot summer and I'm sure that's why. They are outside under the trees in deep shade, and are doing fine other than no eggs. My rooster has started to mount them and I thought that was a sure sign, but nuthin'! Any ideas?
Mine don't lay that early. It might be 10:00 or later. Also, you might need to wait for an egg until they've been on 100% layer feed for at least a week. Good luck!I'm transitioning them from chick feed to layer feed, and they're about to half and half now. I let them out at 8:30 - is that too early?
