Who Are The Vermin In Your Neighborhood? GRRRRR.

Besides all the vermin you guys just mentioned, our neighborhood has drive-by litterers and overly loud-engined modes of transport (two and four-wheeled).

Our main "predators" are the loose neighborhood dogs. They are absolutely fascinated by my chickens as there are not too many around my immediate area at all. And some of those dogs are really huge and look like some beautiful hunting dogs...so I wish I had a much higher fence for my chicks.

The one that really chaps me is the Great Pyrenese who "must" roam free because he is a "livestock guardian." Whatever. He's a crap-bred Great Pyr or GP mix, who is people-aggressive and a danger to traffic since he stands in the road half the time. Of course, these people don't even keep their GOATS contained, so it shouldn't be surprising that their dog runs loose.

A Great Pyrenese!! I don't think I have seen anything that huge around here~~that would really upset me, too. Just how do you chase that kind of dog off???
