We are two little bantums. The farmer mum had us off said we were frizzles but mum has her doubts (we are also supposed to be about 24 weeks old???)

The girls have really straight smooth feathers but lovely fluffy boots. One is black with a really pretty neck while the other is buff.

Anyone have any idea what breed they may be or even how old they are Have included one with them with the silkie to give an idea of size

I can't quite tell from the pics, do they have "muffs" ? Also, does the black one have feathered feet? They are probably crosses, if there are feathered feet on the one then I would say brahma or Cochin mixed in, possibly Easter egger

I'm no breed expert, hopefully someone else chimes in

Hi yes both of them have completely featherd feet. The farmer told me they were 24-26 week old frizzles so really dont know:(
Not sure what you mean by muffs sorry

have just googled and yes I think they both have muffs as they are very fluffy at the side of the face and under their chins

They are definitely not frizzled, I believe that applies to the feather type not breed. The only breeds I know of that have the muffs, and I am no expert, are Auracanas and Easter eggers. Ameraucanas are not that prominent, so that leaves Easter Eggers, but they don't have feathered legs. Two of the most common breeds with feathered legs are Cochins and Brahmas. I have seen frizzled Cochins so here is my semi-educated guess, and I stress the semi

They may be crossed Easter Egger/Cochin Cross. The person you bought them from may very well had frizzled Cochins that hatched them out but I bet they are crossed with Easter Eggers. I really hope someone else checks this out because I am no breed expert, and I'm curious to see what a more knowledgable person will say!

I just remembered, Faverolles have muffs and feathered feet, they also have 5 toes as opposed to 4, any chance it has 5 toes? Gosh,
