Who builds your coop?

My coop was from freecycle, 6'x12' and now that I am expanding our flock, so I went on Craigslist and found someone getting rid of 2 12'x16' sheds. I disassembled them and now I have put a 12'x12' addition on the original coop so finished size when I am done with addition will be 18'x12'. I guess it helps that I am a "shop" teacher and I am able to do all the construction myself.

My husband is the builder of the coop and I hand him stuff. LOL. Actually the only reason he is happy about the chicks is he gets to use his tools and build stuff.

Too scared of doing it myself so I bought mine from Horizons Structures online site. It's way too expensive, but I didn't have the time to get one done.

I did give-up a lot of space and will need to sell most of the Black Copper Marans chicks coming in one week, but I get to start my flock.

It's a 4x6 coop built by the Amish in PA. and delivered to Florida. I paid $1,900.00 and that included delivery and an attached run. I said way too expensive, delivery charges for an 800 pound fully assembled coop is around $400.00. Now I need to choose which 6 of the 25 BC Marans chicks get to stay.
