I didn't remember the numbers so I just looked it up. Only one in 3,000 tortoiseshell patterned cats is a male, so very likely Clovis is a female.

That’s really interesting! Well, then, she really seems to like Marie. Too bad Marie doesn’t like her back.

How long has Clovis been coming around? Marie will probably get used to her in time... Though they will probably have at least a few fights.

She’s been hanging around for a couple months. She is getting more comfortable with us, but she still won’t let us touch her. She isn’t around everyday, but most days she’ll visit at least once. Hopefully Marie will. Her sister died a while back, and we were hoping to let her have kittens so that she could have a friend, and that’s when Clovis came. Maybe they will just end up being good friends, and Marie won’t need kittens.
