Howdy!
My chickens just like to be around me when I give them treats. That is literally like mine. All of my favorites just love being around me.

Apparently I didnât raise them right.

Thatâs not even a fair comparison. I donât think you truly understand how much I love my crossbeaks. I love them far more than I love any regular chicken. And if youâve never had a CCLB, then you canât even talk. Bean has a Coco, and she is her whole world, so I know a thing or two about Cochins. You've obviously never had a Ruby, Oreo Penguin, or a Marshmallow cochin. They are way sweeter than a CCLB. Side note: Spitzhaubens will always be superior. Period. Done. Finito.
Oh. She was listed as an EE
Okay, I'm not wanting to argue with you. BOs are not the âmeatiestâ breed. They are just a meaty breed. People eat them. Thatâs all I was saying. We had golden comets who were "meatier" than them.
Just spend time with them. Spend time out in their coop, and they will see you as one of their own. Mine come up and peck me when they want held. It takes time, energy, and trust, but if you are willing, they should trust you soon enough. My chickens just like to be around me when I give them treats.

I just like CCLBâs better than EEs. EEs are super sweet too, but I was just trying to recommend a breed I think that you would love- Cream Legbar. They have stolen my heart, and I just thought that if you got one, then you would see why. You donât need to though. I just wanted to help you pick a great breed because mine are super sweet- even the ones we havenât spent much time with. Honestly, if it were me, I would get an EE and a CCLB. I have all of the breeds that you are wanting to get- BOs, Cochins, EEs, and CCLBs, and those are my sweetest ones. They are also super hardy. But, since you arenât me, you get whatever you want. I know youâll choose whatever is right for you.But I love EEâs tooâŚ
GAHH I WANT THEM ALL!!
I didnât know you had an outdoor brooder! Do you have any pictures? In our outdoor brooder on the porch.
Not right now itâs bad weather outsideI didnât know you had an outdoor brooder! Do you have any pictures?
I wish I could. Not with the rooster problem I have.Just spend time with them. Spend time out in their coop, and they will see you as one of their own. Mine come up and peck me when they want held. It takes time, energy, and trust, but if you are willing, they should trust you soon enough.
