YAY!!! My new girl, Tiger, has been laying almost every day since she started.

BUT, YOUR NOT LAST. I AM.
I don’t have the nesting boxes up yet though, so my beautiful pullet layed her first egg in the corner of the coop. There was also blood on the shell, but that isn’t too rare for POL pullets. I hope my girl, Amelia, lays everyday. Maybe she will even help my miniature pig start laying, but I don’t know. I’m just happy I got it before my cockerel decided it was food.

Your miniature pig?! Are you referring to a chicken who hogs everything, or an actual miniature pig? :lau

All my EEs are polite, but maybe I only see them as that because the only other comparison is my miniature pig, and she is the opposite of polite.
Another one of my Easter Eggers jumped on one of my Welsummer's back this morning! My mind automatically went to them mating. But I THOUGHT SHE WAS A GIRL!
