He is beautiful!

We have a cardinal nest in our backyard, and last year, we managed to take a picture of the eggs! They are a gorgeous blue (if I remember right), and in the end, the eggs hatched!

He’s the one that is always hanging around! He has even introduced his mate to us!

So cool!! We had barn swallows nest in our sheep/goat barn! They laid three eggs, and they all hatched, but then one fell out and died. We helped it back up the first time it fell, but then it did it again.

This is the other bird we rescued-
His name is Mister Bird, and in this picture he was resting:

And this is a Purple Finch! Cool bird. I've not seen one before.
I guess they're more common on the west coast.

So cute! Her beak reminds me of a hummingbird.
