Why the name change? Well since it will be buried in this thread I'll tell you.

I originally took the name when I came over from the old BYC, what is now called YUKU BYC. Over there I was "oleroo" as in "ol' roo" - a play on my ever increasing years. To this day at least one person here still calls me that name in chat.

Well, I wanted to keep a name that implies advanced and debilitating age, so I snagged 'elderoo' off the cuff.
But the more I used it and got posting around here, the more it sounded pompous, ostentatious and/or boorish - your choice.

I can be all of those things without my name reflecting it! So I requested the change.

Now you know and it can be our secret.

Well, I rather liked it myself....but I guess I'll just have to take what's on offer....
