Who do I call specifically to find out

whether or not a chicken, in Brighton, is considered livestock. We live in a development called Eagle Shadow South and are interested in raising 1-3 backyard chickens. I checked the Municipal Code, but it only references 'livestock' as illegal. Any help is much appreciated!
