Who doesn't use a hygrometer?

I don't have one, and most of my fertile eggs hatch. But I hatch eggs from my own chickens and it is very humid here anyway. I just fill the troughs and make sure they don't dry out.

I have learned SO much in the last couple of days.

Thanks to everyone for responding!

I'm still collecting eggs for my very first incubator hatch, and they're our mutt eggs, nothing expensive. But they have a waiting buyer, so i want a good hatch, you know?

I have found that gleaning from everyone is the best way for me to prepare to do something myself. Now, i'm very excited, and still nervous.

My THI20 incubator didn't come with a hydrometert all it said was fill the trough with 3/4 of a cup of warm water every week and then put a cup in on lockdown and it would regulate the temperature for you it would speed up the fan or slow it down and or dim the lights if it was getting to hot or keep them on fully if dropping.
