I don't know. I don't know much about chickens. I have three, 2 being hens. I thought they were both laying (and they are large brown eggs - started off medium sized) but turned out to be my white rock. And I thought my leghorn would lay first. Surprised me. She was red, and the white rock wasn't. Surprise surprise. lol I guess you never know. Leghorn is finally laying now, and hers are small sized and white. I think she's a bantam. She herself is tiny, just like her little itty bitty eggs. So precious.
