who else has eggs cooking???

out of the 41 eggs I started with, Im down to 23 on day 13.  Hoping for good results from what left.  still have all 6 cream legbars looking good.

I started with 49 enbed up with 25. Hoping they all hatch.

I brought home 8 from a lady's house she had picked out 6 for me, but her husband put in a couple more in my container. 3 were clears 1 was cracked, so I really only counted the 4, and 1 blood ringed at day 3. and currently have the 3. it is day 19 for them. they are looking great. my incubator is very small anyway. 3, I will be able to manage indoors first few weeks any way.

Here's the final count. We started with five dozen, 55 made it to lockdown. Only 32 hatched with healthy chicks. It's not bad considering that they were being passed through multiple people and treated as food before we received them.

The whole experience was very worrisome, I'm terrible at the waiting game, but if given the chance I'd do it again and try to get a better percentage. Now I just have to worry about keeping the chicks healthy!

Baby quail are here! I had 10 hatch but one didn't make it out of the incubator, he got stuck in the wire(I covered it but he got under it somehow) and passed away There are 8 in this picture I can't get over how tiny they are!!!

Very cute!! Mine go on lockdown Saturday and are due to hatch Monday/Tuesday...can't wait!!! First incubated eggs ever!!

found this tiny egg in lay box, the tan egg is normal sized. I popped it in incubator to see if it will do anything. I know it prob doesn't have a yolk. but I had been thinking I wanted a tiny chick.

I have found a couple of those small eggs in the next, Never tried to hatch them. One time I cracked one but did not have a yolk. Would be interesting to see if you hatch a little chick. Let us know is something developed in it.

Today is day 7 for my eggs - the Tolbunt Polish are really easy to candle because of their white shells. All 6 were spot on for day 7 development - saw them all moving around. So exciting! The Isbar is much harder given the green shell. I can see some faint vein outlines and the shadow outline of the chick, but no definition. I didn't see movement today, but I don't think I am too worried about that - it's so hard to see anything in that green shell!

YEAH! Looks like we are right on track!
