Getting close to the end with my duck eggs, it's really hard just leaving them alone, I had a major temp drop yesterday for no apparent reason, if my estimate is right I'm on day 26, with the drop in temp, I checked a couple eggs, and they are fuller now/ducklings have moved into the pointy end. I don't think all them made it, but don't want to pull any just in case they are just a little behind due to being in a slightly cooler spot (I have a homemade incubator)
I took the first set of eggs from my silkie, as I caught her with yolk on her face, and a pile of eggs in front of her, she is trying to sit again, we will see what happens this time, I guess

Yep, anytime I help I try to keep their bottom half in the shell..they need that 'kicking out' for their legs..don't know what it does, but I've always been told it was important and it seems like if they dont, there's always some issue with legs or tendons.. Glad your hatch is going great! Can't wait to see pics when they're all fluffed ♡
