Who else is raising Asian black chicks, and wants to share?

So after 7 years of not having chickens, and now suddenly home for the next month at least, I decided to pick some up chicks from Rural King. I came home with 3 chicks from the Asian Black Chicken Pullets only bin. After doing some research on the forum I can see there's a lot of variability in what's called "Asian Black Chickens" (or in certain cases, people just ending up other breeds, altogether). So I thought it would be fun to share how my chickies are growing up, and see photos from other people who are raising, or have raised these guys

We have two asian blacks and this is what they are looking like. I don't think Black Velvet is a part of the breed. Maybe a kind of barred rock? Also one of the others has brown tips which we haven't seen on ours. Ours have grown in green/iridescent feathers which are what they are supposed to be growing in. Here are some pictures!

Those are some cute chicks!

Since Black Velvet has not turned out so black, we solicited a name from a friend's kid, who is in love with the chicks, and she came up with "Cotton Candy" so that's what her name is now😂. Both Betty and Dark Matter have some deep Chestnut brown on their feathers, but it's not uniform.
