Well, I got my other 2 sets of eggs today.
I opened the box from ebay. I won 16+ eggs... they sent 20. Hooray!
Wait a minute... these eggs aren't packed too well.
5 are cracked (including one of the 2 auracanas) and I can't tell which eggs are which. What's up with that?
Oh well, that's ebay for ya.
So... paid for 16+ and set 15.
I emailed the seller.

I just set 8 from my RIR this morning in my wally bator, hopefully this batch does better than the last. I'm assuming it will though considering I started the last batch under a heat lamp in a cardboard box with a water dish and damp towel. ( I got tired of waiting on hubby to get me an incubator or supplies for building one)

I SET TODAY!!!! was suppose to be yesterday but we had severe storms with a tornado warning....so couldnt get next door to set my eggs.....

BUT I HAVE MY BATOR FULL!!!! and the madness begins....GOOD LUCK EVERYONE

I have one bator with bob whites and chuckers, 10 + days along.

The second I have some quail and now the few surviving horrid shipped eggs I do not hold out much hope for.

I just set 22 coturnix quail eggs yesterday. Should hatch Labour Day weekend.

What a great party and way to kick off the autumn!

YAY!!! Can't wait to see what everyone else hatches too!

I'm sorry to hear about the broken eggs others have had shipped...it's so nerve racking to open your eggs to see them broken. My quail arrived on Thurs and, out of 28, only 3 were cracked. That's pretty lucky, I guess.
