I'll get a pic of the blue (hopefully pullet) tomorrow. I also have a really nice (I think) white pullet that I would like to show when she's older.
I've never done a show before, but I think it would be a fun learning experience.

The black one is a blueface, either df or sf. If it has white on its face or breast it is df, if not it is sf.

The yellows will be white.

The dark back with yellow neck (kind of like a bumblebee?) sound like Darth Vaders (golden redbreasts), but could be regular redbreasts.

Dark with brown stripes is wild, if it were dark with yellow stripes that would be redbreast.

The silvery one could be slate or smokey.

The silver with yellow is either silver or ivory.

Hmmm... that didn't go so well.
I guess the buttons aren't feeling very photogenic tonight.
I mostly got a bunch of blurs and then I had to round up the escapees.
I'll get some pics in the am, I promise!
The lighting is poor in my incubation room & I was trying to use the micro setting (on the "good" camera) but the little buggers either made one big quail pile, or ran for the hills. Like I said, mostly blurs... and I'm too tired to care tonight.

I'll see what I have in the am.

This is how to take a 'good' button pic (the macro setting on my camera SUCKS btw)

This is a golden redbreast baby, aka Darth Vader.

They were a few days old in those pics already too, and they double in size their first few weeks. So you can imagine how tiny they are when they hatch!

Ok... DH is busy so I decided to stay up & try again.
I couldn't keep a hold on them like you did, shelley. I was, however, able to get their little feet between my fingers when they were in my hand. (Otherwise, it seemed like they didn't have feet... or when i picked them up, the little feet would kick so fast, I couldn't grab them.)
So... I'm uploading pics... it'll be a few minutes.

Those buttons are adorable!!

Shes made it through the night but all of the pther eggs are still and the 3 hatchlings are pushing them all over the place.

Its been 24 hours since the first one hatched, should I remove the 3 hatchlings and empty shells or just leave them? Its only a small bator.
