OMG!
You should have warned me! I just said, "Aaaawwwww... OMG it's sooooooooooo cute!" in a high pitched, squealy voice. I got dirty looks. My family hates it when I talk to the computer.

I also have a polish with boots. So far, though, those are my only "issues."

LOL!
It takes almost as long for us to get to the Poconos (as close as I've been to Philly) as it does to visit family in the Carolinas!
I guess in several months, you'll just have to ship me some of "her" eggs, then!

It's 5 hrs for me to get to Pittsburg on the turnpike.... It is cute isn't it though?

Adorable!
5 hours... that's all?
It's a little less than 2 hours from Polk to Pittsburgh.
I have a friend from Jersey & she always complains about the drive home taking more like 10 hours. They must go realllllly slow!

It takes me 9 hours to get to Springfield OH... that's my only 9 hour reference... I picked up our dog there in Nov! Is Polk named for the president? is it on the west or east side of Pitts?

Polk is named for Polk Center - a large state facility that turned into a town around the turn of the last century or so. Polk Center, though, is named after the persident.

We're north of Pittsburgh... between Pittsburgh & Erie.
Seriously, All that's here is Polk Center & a PO. There's a general store, but you have to drive to the next town if you need gas! Most of Polk is state-owned. Polk Center or State Gamelands.
I work at Polk Center. So does DH. We like it here. Moved up from near Charlotte about 8 years ago.
And... now we can have chickens, and quail, and guineas, and peafowl, and dogs & cats, and horses!
