Hi everyone, it seems to me that this is an American site, hope I'm wecome, I live in New Zealand. I have 5 hens we call them Brown Shavers, they are 20 weeks old, not much combs or wattles yet. Obviously still waiting for eggs. I have watched a video someone posted about training them, it was very helpful, and will be trying it on one hen that runs from me, doesn't except feed from my hand.i would very much like her to be more friendly, I'll let you know how it goes.

I never posted my breeds; Most likely because I have to many birds and breeds to count!!! I have almost 25 chickens, not including chicks!!!
Well, I 'll try!:/

Here it goes:

5 or 6 Rhode Island Reds
 4 Bantams
 4 White Rocks
 The rest are Barnyard Mixes!!!:cd
 I also have almost 30 chicks!!:jumpy
We do sell a lot of them though, the roosters and chicks I don't get attached to.

Off course you're welcome here! You're close to getting eggs! Take pics and keep us updated!

We recently got 2 Rhode Island Reds, 3 Plymouth, 3 yellow CN something's, & 7 Silkies. They are all about 7-9 weeks old. They are a lot of fun & we look forward to having them in our "coop".
