Who else set today & will hatch Feb. 21?

And hatch they did!!! Dh woke me up at 0345 to see the first chickie-doodle pop, followed by a second. Both are RIR x EE and light yellow, no stripes. Our similar EE makes red striped babies so I am curious to see how these turn out!

They are both laying across the 3 others that are pipped. It's amazing how they know what to do!

How am I supposed to go to work now?

Mine haven't even pipped yet. Technically, Saturday at 5 pm will be the beginning of the 21st day for me.

LOL You know how I was asking about lockdown and all that, we'll I thought this coming Monday was the 21st. I pop on here and everyone's getting their chicks. I'm wondering if it's common for them to come so early and then I take a peek at the calendar. Whoops! MY chicks should be arriving the 24th.

You just answered a question I had. I have some English eggs which are pretty small (and I had never incubated those before) and one has pipped... my regular big ones are rocking but no pips yet... I can say by what you mention that is ok for small ones to pip first???? Did not know that...

Just started hearing them cheep and they are rolling around like bowling balls. Only one has pipped as far as I can see.
