Who had "Illegal" pets in college?

I just made a post in the other fowl section about the doves I'm planning on bringing with me to school next year. You can find it here.

Anyways, we currently have two pet mice in our apartment. We are not supposed to have any pets except ONE ten gallon tank...well we have two! LOL

Luckily the RAs are very cool about pets as long as there are no heat lamps or rocks that could start fires. My room mates and I are all science majors, so we get away with saying "Oh, these are our science projects!"

So who else had illegal pets in college and what did you have?

I had a ton of reptiles--tortoises, chameleons and bearded dragons. I also had a khaki campbell duckling & about 50 fish

I would LOVE to get guinea pigs, but I'm afraid they would be too loud. We really wanted a parakeet, but the problem we have is that they would make too much noise.

I already have a rabbit at home, but I think a rabbit would stink too much for a little apartment.

male kenyan sand boas are great illegal pets. they can live in a 10G tank. and you never see them because they always bury themselfs into their bedding.

My roomate and I had a ferret. We also had guinea pigs in another apartment. We weren't supposed to have them either.
