Who has chicken and ducks living together???

What breed are the ducks? My ducks, chickens, and goose all live together. They aren't in a run though they have fenced property they forage and hang out in during the day so plenty of space to stay away from a bully.

I hope the 2 rescues settle in and enjoy their new home. Bless you for taking them.
Not sure of the breed. Thanks for the tips. I have a wading pool for the goose in the run and I can set up another for the ducks. The goose can almost float in it. (Me bringing them home in photo.) They were so cold they pinned against me. They were shivering so hard and so hungry.

Got a warning from someone that a drake can kill a hen. Do you have a drake?

I have 2 drakes a Runner and a Muscovy neither mess with my chickens except to make the move away from them. My Muscovy drake has 4 females and my Runner has 8 so they stay pretty busy lol.
Some drakes have been known to try and mate a chicken or anything else that moves like a dog or a foot of the person caring for them. probably even other animals and inanimate objects. The key is to give them plenty of space and most of all plenty of females.

They look to be pekins and so precious. They are so blessed to have had you rescue them. Where were they when you found them?

Thanks so much, he has one girl. Someone mentioned that a drake can kill a hen trying to mate her and I was concerned

thanks, my teenage drake and hen are doing great with the hens, roosters and my goose. In fact, my goose had literally taken them under her wing. They are always together and they share snacks and the kiddie pool. She is crazy about them. I hope it continues.

You'll have to watch your drake when hormones begin to kick in since he only has one girl and they go bonkers when sexuality hits. You may have some problems with him going after your hens but you can always separate them from the chickens if needed. It's important that drakes have many females because having just one can cause her to be over-mated. He may also want to mate with your goose but My gander mated the muscovy before I got him a female goose and they never had any problems.

Thanks for the information. My female duck appears to have a compacted crop. Would I treat that like a hens with coconut oil? It worked great in my chicken hen
