These are at my mom friend home. They are mix barnyard. Hens were of RIR and the rooster some barnyard mix to have feather legs. So I’m thinking most will end up looking like RIR but with feathered feat! LOL

Barnyard mixes given to us by a neighbor for our broody hen. They hatched October 22nd! Now I can't wait for another broody. The experience of hatching was incredible to enjoy with my children.

Hi! Winters can be long. They can even be longer if you have to wait until spring to see babies! If you have any right now put them up, and mention hatch dates for fun. Add info, or just pics. (If you have a chick pic from during the spring or summer of this year, you are also welcome, just mention the hatch dates, thanks.)

Sorry! I have to get a better picture, but for now their sleeping and dont want to disturb them! This one i took earlier of my cute little baby vanilla. His twin bean and friend dolly is sleeping. Lovely chicks by the way!

PERFECTTT i just got 6 from rural king ( never again btw).
2 of 3 dark Brahma died. But anywho.

This is bean burrito my last Brahma , all my chickens are food named except bob ross

this is berry, a sapphire gem very snuggly

munchkin is One of the brahmas that died, twinkle toes was the other.

I think this was butter.. maybe a roo, much bigger than the others and they were all hatched same day. Very confident and will always cuddle with me too .

and lastly sweet potato! She’s a very skittish chicken and makes a lot of noise!
