Laying season can begin as early as March, if it is really warm where you are. I have had an egg or two a week here since the end of November, but so far no fertile ones.

I have 15 mallard eggs in the incubator and 2 new hatches 45 min old (ducky with bum leg) and 10 min old, with 1 in the hatching bator, should be here late tonight or early morning...

These two hatched last week under my first broody. I think it's time to save a few more eggs for the bator - I get up to a half dozen a day and all are fertile.

I have 10 assorted Call duck eggs, 6 Snowy Call duck eggs, and 6 Muscovy eggs in the incubator right now. I have 3 three week old Call ducklings, 4 six week old Call ducklings and 6 two month old Runner ducklings.

I started out with 6 snowy call duck eggs. 2 didn't develop and one died in the shell. I now have 3 that are on their 19th day! These seem to be doing well you can see them moving in the shell.

I just hatched out these two days ago, and only have 3 eggs left. 1 Muscovy and two pekin eggs,

These are Runnes and Pekins.

Its pretty much the end of My hatching season over here, so it will be a while before I have more.

It will be a long wait, they grow up so quick too.

We have 2 Muscovy eggs left in there. I think i will be moving them to the broody hens soon though to make room for shipped eggs.

they are due in 6 days!
