Hmmm....my numbers change a lot through the year. I had over 150 at my height last year, but am down to about 55 - 60 right now. I do have my first hatch due this weekend though

I have about 14 chickens that will never be sold as they are my pets. The rest are show birds that I hatch, raise and then sell or give to the 4H kids when they are looking for birds.

My pets include two Mille Fleurs Booted bantams, Four Modern Game bantams, one large Silver Spangled Hamburg and a few rosecomb show birds.

I also have 5 Beltsville Small White turkeys, and two East Indie ducks.

WOW!!! I thought I had alot of birds.. How do you guys keep up with them all?

If anyone is interested in Peeps you might check your local Southern States or tractor supply. I just got 26 peeps yesterday at our southern states and iwas amazed about the selection of breeds they had and all were sexed but a couple groups. Even if they do not have any right now the manager would probably order if they knew people were interested. at least ours does.
