Who has weird phobias?

* flying palmetto bugs and needles. (No tattoos, or acupuncture for me!!! I almost broke my gf's hand getting my ears pierced.) Don't like heights at times. Had an aunt have her wedding reception at a condo penthouse with no railing whatsoever around the roof. I wouldn't leave the kitchen. Also, not fond of women who have pink hair and dye their poodles to match. They REALLY creep me out. Ed.: Almost forgot. Snakes, if they are bigger than I am tall.

We haven't moved YET - BECAUSE - I have a MAJOR phobia!

I have been in many vehicle wrecks since 5 yrs old, and, I go into a MAJOR panic attack when I get into the driver's seat of any vehicle. I don't do this when I am a passenger. ( I think it's about me having the added responsibility of other lives inside something made of a combination of steel/plastic/fiberglass). It would - HONESTLY - take someone with an angel's patience to teach me to drive. I do not know anyone that has that much patience - PLUS - if anyone gets snippy with me and I'm like, barely controlling my panic attack, it's over, I'm done with you teaching me, and you will not have me asking you for help about ANYTHING else!

!!

I have a similar phobia, crossing intersections!
I don't have trouble crossing between each intersection, just where all the vehicles want to go different ways, and you literaly have to keep your eyes on different vehicles at the same time, some which don't care how close they are to you when they're passing by you - you can touch their vehicle without extending your arm half way.

!

I am able to cross intersections now since about 7 yrs, but, even my older boys had to help me across in the earlier years - it's still sometimes a bit nerve-wracking, since I have to do a runnng/walk across some with lights that go from green/yellow/red in less than 1 or 2 minutes.

! It's no wonder I'd rather walk between intersections.

I wanna move!!!! I hate living in the city!!!!

My third phobia is spiders - but that phobia is normal.

I "forgot" these 2 phobias:
Flying - My second oldest boy graduated from Basic Training in San Antonio, TX last year - I couldn't fly/I didn't have the money/the time from my job wouldn't allow me to. These last 2 I used as xcuses - my son knew that from the beginning!

Heights - Uh no. Won't go very high.

Bed Bugs. Never had them, but all I read about them, and how they are making a huge comeback, and how they come out only at night to suck your blood, and how they are SOOO DIFFICULT to eradicate. I am becoming afraid to stay in hotels, afraid to let the kids sleep over at friends' houses. Also heights. I literally have a physical reaction to heights. If I go too high, or even if one of my kids goes too close to an edge, my butt will actually tingle! Sometimes I am not even aware that I am going too high, but my butt will let me know! Weird!

Just spiders. I love rodents and snakes (have bred rats and have a snake) and all reptiles, really. But those darn spiders.

And I don't mind flying, but whenever the airplane LANDS i freak out

I feel like one of the wheels wont go down or that the pilot will crash us or that we'll fall over to the side onto the wing or something. My brother always laughs at me because I'll be very calm and then as soon as I look out the window and realized we're seconds away from landing I gasp, clutch the handrests with hulk-like strength, lean my head back, close my eyes, and hold my breath!
