Looked back over a few pages, nice work here. Souper, loved your after the storm shots, the first two shots really grabbed me. Kassaundra, love the heron shot, great edit. Funky the dog behind the camera was creative and I loved the shots you got! You also have some super egret and dog shots in your last post! Live Vintage wonderful shot of the black lab, well done! Hello everyone, I was so excited to see a thread for photographers and other aspiring photo takers.
I have a Nikon Digital camera D40 with an Nikon DX SWM ED Aspherical lens .( 18-55 mm lens)
These are a few photos of my trip to Maggie Valley, NC only 2 1/2 hours from my home in Monroe, NC.
Just outside of the Indian Reservations there are falls you can go see and I climbed all the way to the bottom
to take a few photos.

I thought I did comment on those stupid smartphone, I think those are awesome. I'm starting my Pet Photography Business, I'm gonna hold free pet portraits to get my portfolio diversified and then continue on from there. But there are a few legal things I gotta do first, so I have to contact my lawyers. It's gonna be hard though with an already full time Job a Child and all my chickens and animals but completely worth it.

Some really lovely shots on this thread!!

Just a note on photoshop. If you or your child is a student there are student versions which are exactly the same but much cheaper. Requires student ID. But I know we have a lot of students on the site.

Oh and how about a question for those with fancy dslr cameras.

How long did it take you to start shooting in M? Know so many people with these who still shoot in the green full auto

To answer my own question , it was a film slr but took me 10years to make that leap . Kick myself I didn't do it sooner!
