I actually followed the spider into it's nest with the camera because I saw it carrying something. As I got closer the spider stopped so I froze and saw that it was chowing down on another spider. If you really look at the pic you can see the legs under it.

one of my recent favorites... we get some of the biggest grasshoppers here I've ever seen and this one was checking things out from atop our sprinkler head

I don't have any fancy cameras, and in fact I often use my cell phone for pictures...and sometimes my laptop webcam. But I still love taking pictures and hope to get a better, fancier camera someday.

I like using Picnik, but I also have a free program called Picasa that I like to use.

You're pics are great! You don't need a fancy camera to take beautiful pics. As long as you enjoy what you're taking and what you have, that's all that matters.
