Who here is into Photography?

I have a Canon Xsi. I bought it at Sears. It was an open box return. I saved $250.00 but I made sure that it had the same warranty. Then, for extra lenses, I shopped the lots on Ebay. Bought a wedding photographers film camera set up for $300.00. I then sold most of it, and kept 2 lenses and a nice flash. So I ended up spending about $150.00 on 2 decent lenses and the flash.

I decided on Canon, because when I first started research digital cameras (@2000) I liked the pictures that they took better than the Nikons. They seemed warmer to me. So I just stuck with it when I upgraded to a SLR.

We are chicken sitting this nn hen for a few days so I got out my camera, she was much harder to get a pic of then my girls, she is bantam size and very hyper.

Funny, I'm not really sure how I feel about her looks... awww...ick...awww...ick...awww thinking her neck has to get cold in cold weather, and unbidden an image of her with a knitted tube around her neck popped into my head and teeny tiny earmuffs... poor dear. You got some very nice shots of her for her being hyper! And she her color is very nice... but I'm still torn between awww and ick

dkvart, I love your sandpipers. Your pics really made me want to head to the beach. I only live 1-2 hours away (depending upon which coast I want to go to) and I still have not made it YET this year to the beach.

Kassaundra, beautiful pics of that little girl. I cant seem to calm my bantams down long enough to snap any decent pics of them. The only time they are relativity still is at feeding time and then I can only seem to get decent pics of their bloomers.

peewee, nice to see you back and always, your pics are awesome. Love the lizard peeking out of the shadows and the caterpillar arched up!

The sandpipers shots weren't as clear as I would have liked, but were taken from quite a distance as I had found a bit of a hill to take the moon pics from and didn't want to tote camera bag and tripod down to the shore to snap those pics, but I loved his poses.
