Who here is into Photography?

peewee, thanks for the advice. I'll have to start doing that. I got a few shots in yesterday, have so much going on at the moment it's tough to get more than 10 minutes to run out and shoot. Had to edit them (basically crop) as I couldn't get in close enough...very tall weeds, snakes and sandels ... not the best combination! LOL Not to mention we have very skittish butterflies here, you don't get to get to close to them! Anyway here are my 3 favorite...

Here is a picture I got yesterday.. I didnt expect it to come out so well sence it was shot through the house window screen!!
I have a few varriations of it were I messed with the crop and the detail in her wings are awesome! This is just the original without the crop.

dkvart1, Beautiful butterflies!!! Haven't seen may Monarchs around here this year. Kind-of miss them.

Silkiemomma, Love the hummer!!! That is one of my all time favorite birds. We have a couple that come around here but I never seem to have my camera with me when they show up.

My hubby went to school for photography though now he works for Sierra Trading Post. He has always stuck to Canon. We have numerous canons and if you are wanting to start out with an slr, the rebel is a good place to start.
