Hey, I've gone through everyone's pictures, and I love them!!
Is there any chance you guys could teach me a few things? Or critique my work? Im still learning, but I always want to get better. This is my most recent favorite here. I edited it and blacked out the back groud, my first time editing but I think it turned out okay. What do you think?
Iheart, LOVE the dewy flowers! Lacey, nice shot, I don't edit much except to occassionally crop a little, add some highlights and on rare occassions (like my bug below) sharpen it a bit... this one I actually sharpened a lot, only becuz I loved the unexpected shot and lord knows how long I'd have to wait to get it again!
Just a couple from my flower garden today... I was going through withdrawl (hadn't had the camera out in over a week), so...

That picture is GREAT! Did you edit it? Mess with contrast?
I took it right as the sun rose, you know that early morning summer light? I LOVE it!! Its so fun to play with. She had like mountians and stuff in the background that I blacked out to make it look like it was taken in a studio with proper lighting and stuff. Do you know a bit about photography? Could you please look at my page and tell me what i could do better and stuff to work on? Im sorry, Its just that youre the first to reply, Im trying to make you my victim.
Is it working?
dkvart1, I love that second picture! Its amazing. :]
Lacey, I viewed your page, your first picture and the one right below it are right on.... beautiful closeups, sharp, in focus ... perfect. Usually it's lighting and focus that give folks problems, especially in close ups... that and a lot of "clutter" in photos... elements that add nothing and/or actually detract from the pic. I always try to shoot in natural light when possible, especially early morning light, it's the best. I am by no means a pro at shooting, I just love to shoot
and manage to get some interesting and not 1/2 bad pics. I'll be happy to comment on those you post if I see anything you could have done better.
lacy, I looked at the pics on your page, they were nice. I especially liked the close up of the boards w/ the fence in the background. I thought your editing showed restraint and enhanced the pics.
