That is very true. Where I am, that is one of only two real restrictions: no pigs, no mobile homes. That is a subdivision covenant so watch those carefully. Also, never assume because a place allows horses that it allows chickens. Many horse properties disallow poultry. Saw one just today while searching the Cleveland, TN MLS site. Five acres, barns, fenced and cross fenced, one horse or cow per acre, but (get this) "No chickens, swine or pigs allowed". What the heck do they think "swine" is???
