I thought it was fun.... though I do wish it had rained a bit less

That's ok, kept me from spending too much money!

I got 3 La Fleche birds from Ed... GORGEOUS!!!!!! And a I ended up buying a little Blue OEGB pullet from one of the sellers.

I'm going again in Aug to get hardware cloth! I hope they have that stuff every swap

They have always had the pens and stuff in the barn everytime I have went. Great prices on them too. I got a buff, silkie, la fluer. Money was tight this time hopefully it will be better next swap.

I was drowned by the time I got home - soaked inside and out. BUT, I had a ball. It was fun seeing Sue and Ed again, and meeting Angie. The orloffs are settling in, the incubator is ready to go, and I'm ready for the next swap. LOL

Its 2am and Im just getting home from WolfLake, boy what a long day. After getting a little wet at the swap, we left early and headed to WV to take my Daughter to meet her mother, then we went to Cabelas for a couple of hours and then headed back home. It had started to rain so hard that we had to pull over and sit awhile til it let up some then we made it to a rest stop and sat a little while longer. I know we saw at least 5 car wrecks from the rain, it was a mess at times to see where you were going. We made it home just fine, Thankfully. The chicks I got from Carole and Guitartist had a nice long ride also, the poor things had to ride along, but they all made it just fine.

I'm trying to make up my mind to go or not to go........Last one I went to it was more like a flea market than an animal swap meet. those that went last time, worth the time? don't really need anything, would like to find a partridge wyandotte bantam of different blood line. No real need tho.

There's a lady on ebay here in southern MI that sells hatching eggs for them. oh, I plan to go to the next one to get hardware cloth..... wallet permitting
