Who is hatching on Easter Weekend?

I have 7 silkies and a mystery chicken egg due to hatch tomorrow. I had one little silkie pip last night somewhere between midnight and 2am, another pip this afternoon, and yet one more just about half an hour ago!!!

These are actually babies from my gals, so, this is a super exciting hatch for me! Hopefully, I will be posting pics soon

Well, I guess better late than never. The 3 dark eggers pipped this morning and hatched this afternoon.

When I refilled the bator with water tonight, I got the newbies out and

all the rest have pipped except the silkies. I don't know why they are hatching so late, my other hatches actually have started a day early. I've had no temp or humidty fluctuations but I'm just glad they are on the move.

My hatching madness started yesterday- I have 14 in the brooder, and 7 more on the fluff cycle in the bator- plus more pips!

Later today will be picture day.

I have one out and 11 pipped with 24 left sandbagging...it is going to be a long day. Your little guy is about the same color as mine only mine has 3 small black spots on it's back.

Well I have 24 in the brooder now and 3 more on the dry cycle in the bator!!

Holy cow!

I have been out cleaning the coop to distract myself.
