what kind of bator do you have hippiechick?, does it have a fan?,, sometimes like in a LG still air, the chickies are always 1 or 2 days late,, i wouldnt worry till day 23,,,,, they'll hatch !!

i think ive actually read something on another thread about silkies taking a little longer,, but not sure,,, but with ANY egg, theres lots of variables,, and i dont worry till day 23,, thats when i candle 1 last time,, then i crack the airsac,,, just to be sure

Thanks, Jim. I think I'm going to pull the 3 Sizzles out, and add a little water to my bator. The humidity is at 68% this morning, so I need to bring it up just a little.

well I told you I would finally get in the game. Two of my black coppers have started to pip so if all is as usual they will sit in the egg for the next twenty four hours so they can worry me. Day twenty one doesnt start until tonight so they prob are just preparing . Really dont expect them to make an appearance until day twenty one. The marans I hatched last week didnt start pipping until day twenty one and most didnt hatch until late day twenty two so am not to anxious yet. All of yalls chicks are so cute congrats, Solsken have your cuckoos started to pip yet
