Who is incubating quail eggs at the moment?

Me too! I am getting 24 Texas A&M quail egg's from pigeonjim they should be here monday or tuesday and my incubator is set up and ready to go I will set them as soon as they arrive! I will keep you updated, thank's for starting the post definetly not as many quail folk on here as chicken (I have both)

One baby hatched this afternoon. Of 79 eggs, I sure hope we get more tonight

We're getting good hatch rates on our other birds, so this would be an expensive disapointment if they don't do OK. We lost power for two hours in the early afternoon, due to the FOOT of Spring Break freak snowstorm we had. By the time we got the generator wrestled through the snow and hooked up, the power came back on. I have my fingers crossed for these little peepers.

I have 16 in the 'bator as of 3-19.
My lock down date is April 1st.

Well, today I decided to get another dozen of coturnix eggs

So i willh have 2 doezens!!

I've got 140 A&M eggs incubating at the moment. They are set to hatch on the 30th.

As of this morning (day 19) we have 24 babies. Not great out of 96 total shiiped eggs (and only 79 not broken), but better than I expected considering how they were packed.

One is WHITE with a dark spot on it's head...don't think that one is a Jumbo Brown~LOL We also have one with a pretty severe crossed beak

I'll watch it closely and cull it if it's not going to do OK. If it can eat, we'll let it grow to butcher size, but I don't think it will thrive.

I had NO idea how active these little guys were~LOL They are a hoot!

I've got 72 eggs coming in the mail- should be here tomorrow

add that to the 48 eggs that a friend of mine has in her bator because mine is out of room! Can't wait to see how many fuzzball cuties arrive from these hatching eggs

I only got 10 out of 57 brown and golden eggs. I used an automatic turner and followed all the rules about settling, temperature, humidity and upright storage. The eggs were packed very well. I don't know why I failed so.

Well today arrived the eggs and guess what!!! Hethere was 6 extra eggs!!! But the problem is just its all cramped and it fits just exactly in my incubator, but turning them takes some while does it matter?
