Everyone who is hatching now post here so I can keep up with you.

I have 8 pipped of 19 eggs.

and none from the ones I'm hoping for!...

Had to correct it 5 and still not the ones I am hoping for.. lol

I have 4 brand spankin new buff orps and 2 brand spankin new EE's from Jody at day 20. Theres a few more eggs of each still either with pips or with nothing yet. Then right behind them, on day 19 today, is some of Christie's Welsummers. So far I got great development from them, I put 14 in the hatcher, and I think she sent around 20, so they're doing great.

I think BYC members are single handedly keeping the population of chickens from declining in the modern world.

I'm on day 4, so I'm waiting. I snuck a candling in on six and I saw nice veining.

I have my first hatch!! He is two days early and I have a feeling he'll be lonely for awhile. The other hasn't done anything but pop a piece of shell off.

It's amazing how fast it can go once they really get started zipping.
