Im On day 17 of cotornix quail and day 14 of button quail, also got a 3 doz+ of silkies/ showgirls but the are still a couple weeks away from hatching. These are my first quail but Im already in love with them...LOL the eggs are just so tiny and cute your gonna have to love whatever comes out

I just put 18 eggs in my bator last night, and expect a few more to arrive in a couple of weeks. tfpets sent me 7 marans eggs, plus a bunch of her mixed breeds. I threw in three of my own as a control group. I can't wait to see how they come out now I'm using my HB Genesis instead of my LG (and my 'very acurate' thermometer which turned out to register several degrees cooler than actuality--thus the reason for such bad hatch rates before).

I have a grab bag of Orp eggs hatching as we speak. 5 chicks hatched (one died immediately). 2 more pipped!

I have 10 Barred Rock & Orp eggs in the hatcher now on Day 19. 2Phoenix eggs will goin tomorrow Day 18, 3 more Phoenix go in on the 4th.

Well, we've got 4 hatched, several rockin' & rollin', and over a dozen others pipped! It's gonna be a busy morning.

None of them are very photogenic....they've all gathered off in a corner, and I can't get a camera angled on them. Maybe later.

Today is Day 20 for my broody Glenda, Suede's daughter. Already, several of the six eggs have hatched under her. She was a great first time broody.

Today is day 19 for my blue/barred rocks, and one lone blue rock hen. I have 5 pips so far, including the blue girl's.

I have coturnix eggs, bobwhite eggs in the hatcher already, and another hatcher warming up to transfer Millie eggs and light brahma eggs this afternoon...
