Who is pipping and waiting right now??

I am on day 26 (runner ducks) and I am pipping and coming out. Started last night.

I got 13 hatched since yesterday the two remaining eggs are prob. dead but i'll keep them one more night. One of my chicks desnt look to good, not sure if it makes it. But the rest is fine and the bflp that i was very concerned about turned around and tries took walk now and even drank.

I have 10 button quail in the brooder and 5 more in the incubator still drying off. Pretty good for my first time with buttons. I started with like 32 eggs but I am sure some did not progress, they were shipped after all. Will try to post pics later. Congrats to everyone who is hatching right now.

My silkie babies are Laaazzzzyyyy! Tehe! They are just chipping away at the shell. I do have one that has "broke though" if you can say that. He made a little slit. So I'm sitting on my hands so that I don't try to help them. TEHE!

Waaahhh

My little sebbie died in the shell. It was a she also. I took her out to see what was wrong as the humidity was high and she was not stuck.

Her yolk was absorbed, but it looked as if her abdomen muscles, etc did not go inside. I guess she was not meant to be of this earth.

The next one has pipped internally, so I guess I can focus on it now.

One of my turkeys piped and the yolk came out before the chick and it drowed, so I understand.

Yea focas on the ones you got to see alive and take care of those.

I am sorry you lost the little sebbie. Tell me how you know it was a female. I was going to buy some seb goslings but the lady told me they couldn't be sexed that soon. I wasn't willing to risk being given 3 males.

I'm so sorry! I know how that feels. I lost 8 last week. It was horrible. But focus on your furballs that made it, and keep smiling.

Well.....I'm still twiddling my thumbs and waiting on the silkies to pop out. They are slowly making their pips around. Been at it all day. Somebody please tell me to be patient.......I'm getting antsy....I want to just rip that shell off and see my babies. Tehe! Just Kidding.
