Who is pipping and waiting right now??

Woke up this morning and I have a chick! One chick and one smashing its' way around the shell. I wouldn't call it a zip as much as I'd call it a smash.

I've got six that are due to hatch today, and 3 more that are due to hatch sometime in the next week. Thanks to the other hens in the coop, they were so kind as to volunteer some extra eggs in the nest and I didn't check until a week later. I have a stand-by broody hen that's going to sit on those that don't hatch at the same time. :lol

I have one Australorp so far! There's 5 more australorp and 3 bantam eggs left.

One Golden Phoenix so far two more pipped, Day 20

Day 20 and we have so far 7 chicks and 11 pips and 4 zipping out of 29 eggs.

Day 22---- 30 hatched and one almost out, along with the one that has been struggling to get out.
