Who Is Ready For Christmas?

Every Christmas I always celebrate with my family and animals. My dogs and chickens, plus my family all get matching sweaters. We all get a special treat for the tradition. Sadly I can't dress up my pet tarantula.

I hope all of you have a great Christmas this year, with family or friends, plus your beloved pets.

Ready for Christmas ? Surely you jest.

While I usually still have to go to the busy shopping mall days before Christmas, yesterday I received in the mail the last present I needed, and I am DONE!

The lights are up, the decorations are up, just waiting on my FIRST cut Christmas tree (last year I had a potted tree, and all the years before I had plastic - that's the norm in Australia).
Now I can enjoy all the best stuff!

Christmas decorations are up, most of the cooking done, presents under the tree- for fur babies and family. I have a vintage nativity set- Fontanini that I spread all across my buffet in the dining room. This year, I added a chicken coop and chickens. Can't say it is biblically accurate, but surely the stable had a coop -amIrite? I also have the sheep, deer, bunnies, camels ( the wise men rode in on something) and because I live in Texas- a longhorn cow with calf. Next year, maybe some goats.
