I know who the moms are for these freshly hatched chickadees, but the dad could either be an Easter Egger or a Barred Rock Roo. Care to guess?

Moms here are amberlinks:

Mom here is a barred rock:

And moms here are production reds or poor quality RIR:

And last but not least, this one's egg (along with 7 others were sold to me as Amerucana eggs) and I came ro the conclusion she's an EE, but look at how cute.

The dark ones with the spots on head seem to be barred. Since EE are a mix you never know what the offspring will look like. I also hatched some local eggs with barred rocks in the flock. Some of the chicks look like yours. I am watching to see other opinions.

First batch is amberlink x barred rock (assuming each group is sired by 1 rooster)
Third batch also has barred rock father. But that's weird how there's a light gray/blue chick in the mix...

The ones with the barred rock mom should all be females, if their father is in fact an easter egger. (The yellow chicks can't be explained by two barred rock parents, plus I see some EE cheeks).

All your black ones have at least one barred rock parent.
All your light ones do not have a barred rock parent.
In your second set I don't believe those lighter chicks are from a barred rock hen.

I'll admit that yesterday was a bit of a whirlwind with chicks hatching throughout the day but I am 100% sure that the yellow one with the black is from the barred rock mom, and fairly certain about the other yellow one.

She was attached to her shell for a while and I had to cut the umbilical cord like string. I had all my eggs labeled with their mom's initials, and Chickaletta's (my barred rock) eggs are darker than the amberlinks and RIRs.

Thanks for the pics. Any chick with a white spot on its head is genetically barred, so must have a barred parent. Considering the only chicks with spots have non-barred mothers, all chicks with head spots must have a barred rock father.
