Oh, I am sorry. I wish I could help, but I have no clue!!
I found a post on another site in which someone was discussing "hip dysplasia" in one of their turklettes. This is all that she really said:
"That was why in the end, we stuck the lower portion of his legs onto shaped card to hold both his 'knees' & 'ankles' at the right distance apart & keep his lower legs parallel to each other. It was harder (but not impossible) for him to walk, but it did go some way to correcting the right hip displacement & twisted right leg."
It sounds like they made a splint that went all the way up his legs and held it there, but no one on that forum was very optimistic about turklettes and displaced hips.
I hope you can figure something out for him!!
