who knew two and a half week old chicks could fly up two feet?

i call these two the sky chickens. I like to think the earth chicks have a religion based on these two sneaky chicks.
As you may be able to tell by these pictures, I have been having trouble keeping these chicks in the brooder. Right now I have a window screen over half of it during the day and at night when I turn the light off in there I put a piece of cardboard over the other side. Thankfully only three can fly out but the other two are getting close.

only three and a half weeks left until they go outside. wish me luck

Do you currently have adults in the coop?
They can fly higher than that!
I had 2 week olds easily fly up 34". Boogers.
 
Move them out to the coop with their heat source.
Good advice but the coop is being redone so coop is not an option. I would move them out to the garage but with how they are escaping inside i would have to track down five tiny chicks in my two car garage filled with junk. And I’m a big softie so that adds to the equation.
