Yesterday my husband & I discovered Sugar Loaf Mountain near Hearne, Texas. In fact, we climbed it as part of our Texas Master Naturalist training. We had no idea there was anything close to a mountain anywhere near College Station. Those of you in the Hill Country or Davis Mountains would scoff at our little mountain, but it was fun and we got a wonderful view of the area.
