Who laid the white egg?!

This morning I went to see if there were any eggs i could collect. My buff was in the middle of laying so I went back inside. 10 minutes later I came out to check again and my bsl was laying so I went back inside. 15 minutes after that I went back outside to check and my barred rock was laying so I once again came back inside. 20 minutes later I went back outside and these were the eggs I found.....who laid the white egg?!

Is it possible one of them didn’t actually lay and one of the white leghorns went in and quickly laid it?

Yes that is possible. I've had hens have little false alarms when laying so one of those three didn't lay.

My buffs lay that colour white-cream egg.

I have all brown lays but occasionally I get a really light egg like that. Might be your black sex link because that's the only breed of those listed I also own.

I’m thinking maybe my barred rock had a false alarm and a leghorn laid instead. My black sex link gave me a double yolker yesterday
